Omorovicza – Liberty of London Beauty Room Refurbishment

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Omorovicza – the cult skincare brand from Budapest, that use the curative properties of Hungarian thermal waters to create a luxury skincare range – approached Hello Flamingo to update their beauty treatment room in the historical luxury London department store, Liberty of London. [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="25px"][vc_column_text] In the 1800s, the founder, Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza’s ancestors, commissioned one of the most famous architects in Hungarian history, Miklos Ybl, to build the beautiful Rácz spa in Budapest, on the site of a medieval healing spring – this thermal bath was the inspiration for the treatment room refurbishment. The team at Hello Flamingo set about transforming the room, with a scenic painter painting the walls with an aged stone effect, the existing furniture was sanded back and given a worn/aged paint effect also. Penhaligon’s – Instore POS Display

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Hello Flamingo worked alongside the Marketing team at Penhaligon’s to create a concept and design and manufacture a bespoke re-usable Product Display unit. [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="25px"][vc_column_text] Working with the client, the Hello Flamingo design team developed the initial ideas with mood boards and material suggestions. The process went through 5 concepts and prototypes to create the final product. The client wanted a display unit which fitted with the stores feel, with a high-end finish, also with the opportunity to re-use over multiple product launches. The units were manufactured inhouse with solid Sapele wood and lacquered with a gloss finish. The unit had a small drawer at the front for samples and tester cards, which is in lined with eau de nil felt. The back image was interchangeable for various campaigns in a discreet opening underneath. The initial order of 25 units, was dispatched for the launch of the Ostara fragrance in Spring 2015...

Selfridges – Psycle

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Hello Flamingo were very excited to work with the creative team at Selfridges, London. We were asked to manufacture permanent furniture pieces for the newly opened Psycle fitness centre in the ‘Ultra Lounge’ on Oxford Street. [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="25px"][vc_column_text] Working with brass and recycled composite sheets (made up of recycled yoghurt pots), the in-house team manufactured brass clothing rails and a table to create simple and stylish pieces. The clothing rails were created using one piece of brass tube to create a continuous curve with a seamless finish.
