We designed and developed a family of ‘stepped’ plinths, in sprayed, wooden and concrete effect finishes, some with colour changing LED trims, that work together and separately, to highlighting their new mannequin poses and also product and accessory stories.
Ladder display units, in solid oak with interchangeable shelves to hold mannequins and product, were also developed, making use of the space in narrower windows, and these also featured LED trims which can change colour depending on the window scheme.
In addition to the plinths and ladder display units, Hello Flamingo also designed, developed and built a huge statement ‘staircase’ prop, featuring an amazing concrete effect finish, illuminated LED treads and edge detail. This element is a semi-permanent unit which will stay in the window and can be used to display various mannequin and product stories. It’s a massive visual focal statement that’s visible from right across the road and helps to draw attention and create a ‘wow’ moment.
All of the window elements were launched in line with the M&S Christmas campaign, and we also supported with installation of some huge glitter covered walls, to create an elevated version of their all-store scheme.
