For the third year running, Hello Flamingo were asked by the creative team at Matches Fashion to work with them and their designers for London Fashion Week.

The Ledbury Road and Marylebone store windows had showcase windows from Roksanda and Stella McCartney, among others.

The Roksanda window display was created with a freestanding plywood box with a puzzle of wood offcuts in different colours and textures. Recessed shapes were made to fit the beautifully crafted handbags perfectly.

The Stella McCartney window display was a real statement. A bespoke steel frame was made in-house to fit the acrylic cut out lettering, reading ‘MEMBERS AND NON MEMBERS ONLY’. All the letters were cut in bold primary colours, blue, yellow and red acrylic and layered on top of each other to give depth.

The Marleybone store showcased a number of the designers products in large coloured acrylic columns which stood in the window with contrasting coloured aluminium edging. Clear acrylic shelves held product and gave the illusion of the items floating.

All displays were installed overnight by the Hello Flamingo team.

We loved working on this creative display and manufacturing the props in our workshop, co-ordinating with both the creative team at Matches Fashion and the designers.
