Hello Flamingo love working with the creative team at Matches Fashion and were so happy to be asked again to create their London Fashion Week AW18 windows in their Marylebone and Ledbury Road stores.

With the tagline ‘The Innovators’, the idea was to create an art movement in the windows, with the brutalist London landmark The Barbican as an inspiration.

Taking the design from the client, Hello Flamingo manufactured freestanding sculptures made from polystyrene, with a concrete textured paint effect added. These structures stood in the window amongst the mannequins.

Hanging MDF back panels were given the same concrete effect finish and were graffitied, using print from the new season’s as a starting point, by a Bristol-based street artist to add to the urban/city vibe.

The windows looked great and were really well received.
