Set against the backdrop of the Sussex coastline, we delivered the manufacture and installation of the Beacon Gabions for Sussex Contemporary Illustrators & Printmakers (SCIP), forming part of the Seaford Beach public art trail.

Designed to celebrate the community and landscape of this iconic stretch of coast, the installation combined robust structure with creative expression. We produced a series of gabion structures, filled with locally sourced stone, creating a natural, textural base that sat seamlessly within the environment.

Each beacon housed printed artworks, which we also produced, showcasing contemporary illustration, photography and written word. The structures were carefully installed along the seafront, forming a trail that invited visitors to explore, reflect and engage with the stories of the coastline.
