Browns – Jean Michel Basquiat Collaboration
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] We were so happy to be approached by the creative team at luxury fashion boutique Browns to work with them on a pop-up shop in their South Molton Street store for their collaboration with iconic artist the late Jean-Michel Basquiat, in conjunction of the exhibition of his work showing at The Barbican.. [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="25px"][vc_column_text] The team came to us with their design concept and Hello Flamingo set about building it! Two windows were partially blacked out, painted by our very own director Paula, the centre of the windows were left and exposed enlarged prints of the artist work – along with garments from the collaborative collection. Large paper prints filled other windows, with hand sketches and notes and plinths and windows had the highly recognisable ‘crown’ and ‘SAMO’ logos.
